About Me
My customer-service background taught me that professionalism is not simply how you look—it is how you communicate, how you treat people and how you respond when circumstances change.
Since moving into security, I have worked across film and television productions, live events, festivals and community celebrations. I hold an active SIA Door Supervisor licence, valid until June 2027, and take pride in presenting myself professionally, building rapport quickly and supporting the team around me. I am particularly interested in permanent opportunities with broadcasters, production companies, facilities teams and major event operators.

What Motivates Me
I enjoy creating positive, professional interactions with colleagues, clients, performers, production crews and members of the public.
Security is never a one-person operation. I value clear communication, mutual support and contributing wherever the wider team needs me.
I enjoy helping design strategies and exploring whether something can be improved—not by claiming to have every answer, but by asking better questions.

Lessons from the Industry
Working in media security has taught me that every department has something to teach. By becoming part of the team, I have gained a stronger understanding of planning, logistics, communication, timing and how departments work together under pressure.
Those lessons have also influenced my own drone photography and cinematography. Seeing how crews frame shots, manage light and coordinate movement has helped me develop creatively outside work. I also serve as a moderator in the Official DJI Owners Group community and bring more than 15 years of live DJ and broadcasting experience, both of which strengthen my ability to read audiences, communicate clearly and manage live environments.
“Every production is an opportunity to protect, contribute and learn.”
Operational Thinking
I enjoy analysing operational processes and exploring whether they can be improved. My approach is not to assume I have the answer, but to ask useful questions, gather different perspectives and evaluate ideas through practical testing.
This mindset led me to develop the Operational Capability Framework - an evidence-led, vendor-neutral discussion paper exploring how intelligence quality influences operational decision-making and capability within the private security sector. It is currently progressing through case-study collection and proposed validation trials.
Discussion Paper
Exploring Time to First Operational Intelligence, confidence grading and better decision-making under pressure.
Case studies & validation planningCommunity
I volunteered my time as SIA security for a VE Day community celebration, supporting organisers and helping families enjoy the occasion safely. During the event, members of one of the teams invited me to join their tug-of-war side—a small moment that captured what I value most: becoming part of the team.
